We got a card from Skeezix yesterday! It's a Halloween card. It should have had Mao on it, too, but he didn't show up for their photo shoot. It was awesome anyway.

Happy Halloween, everyone! It's almost here! Get lots of candy, but stay away from the chocolate.

Mom and her friends are doing a Secret Santa exchange for Christmas, and they drew names last night.

But Mom is wondering: What do you get for a woman who has everything?

Wordless Wednesday

(Sunny's mom-this is Turtle and Pickle, a rescued kitten who is currently living with us.)

T: Eek! We have a problem!

Mom was gonna enter Pippin in Petco's costume contest on Saturday.

The problem is, her grandma (our great grandma!) is having her birthday party at 1pm, and registration is at 1:30. How in the world will we make it work?

P: Hahahaha! That's what you get for stuffing me in that costume, Mom! Hahahahah-

Pippin! If you won you'd get prizes, like 'nip and new stuffed animals!

Oh. Really?

Can I drive myself there, Mom?

P: Mom has been sewing my Halloween costume! It's kinda hard because I really don't want to let her measure me and stuff. But she seems to be determined...

There are some costume contests around here that she wants to enter me in, plus she'd like to get me entered in Skeezix's contest!

So hopefully it will turn out well.

T: Mom got the book that has Pippin's picture and story in it today!

Would you believe that Pippin wasn't even that interested? He was too busy lookin' for foods.

I lick, lick, licked the page he was on-my brofur is in a published book! I think it's cool, even if he doesn't!

The book is called "Hopeful Tails" and it's available at any Borders or Waldenbooks store. Mom nearly cried at many of the stories in it-and the best part is that if you purchase it before June or July of next year, a dollar from the purchase goes to the ASPCA! It's a win-win situation. (Plus, you can see Pippin, and that's pretty darn cool!)

P: So Mom has finally let that Pickle out of her room for good. She'd been letting him out to play with us every day, and now that we sorta get along, he's free!


Mom's friend (Pickle's co-mom) may have found an apartment, so Pickle might be leaving pretty soon. Mom's kinda sad.


We think he's cute and all, but I can't say we'll be broken-hearted. I mean, we haven't gotten a good nap in since he's been out! Always climbing on us, nipping our ears...sheesh! What's a guy to do!?



Eek! Here he comes!

P: We's furry sorry we haven't updated lately. Mom has been sick (again) because she works around lots of kidbeans. They pass everything along to her.

Our furriend Millie's fursister (even though they didn't get along so well) has crossed the Rainbow Bridge today.

Our purrayers are with Millie and her mom.

Hi! I's Pickle!

I's gettin' furry big. Mom says I eet like a horse and now I can jump on the bed and bother her allllll night.

If you lookit my before pictures and my now pictures, you can see a BIG difference!

Mom says my co-Mom (her friend she found me with) is moving in a couple of weeks and then I getta go live with her. Mom's furry sad but she told her friend if she ever needed to give me back she'll always take me.

(I has laser eyes!)

In ofur news, Mom got bitten by a camel. I swear! She was at a petting zoo and the camel got impatient and didn't want Mom to feed the other camel. So it ate Mom!

Mom thinks it's kinda funny (even though it hurts) 'cause how many people can say that?

KC & Missy's Mom has ended up with more kitties than she knows what to do with!

Dinah and the Mites are very adorable kittens (Mom is about 10 months, the kittens are about 2 months) and they all need good, loving homes!

Most of us kitties know what it's like to need a home-can anyone help?
