Wow, sorry it's been awhile, guys!

We have big news...we're in the process of moving! That's why we've been so absent lately, haha.
So don't expect us around much for the next few weeks as we get set up and settled in :)

Once we get done, we'll come let you know what we think of the new place-Mom says we'll like it, but we say "we'll see."

Fanks for your well-wishes, efurryone. I'm still eating and maybe gaining back some weight-Mom's crossing her fingers!

Last night Mom was looking into those cat-sitter videos (psh, as if anyone could sit CATS) and she pulled up a sample of one. Ava stared at it the entire minute and a half and batted at the screen several times. It was so funny. Mom isn't sure if we (me and Pippin) would like one but obviously Ava would.

Also, our grandpa hung a hummingbird feeder by the window-if that isn't soooo entertaining I don't know what is! Besides the fish, that is.

Mmm, I'm hungry. Going to find food. Have a good weekend, efurrybody!

Hi!
I'm still eating and drinking okay, and from what Mom can tell, using the litterbox. I've been a furry good boy about taking my medicine (mostly-once I got a claw under Mom's nail. Oops.) Still hoping this stuff is gone for good!

We're glad it's the weekend. It's the best time for lounging around with Mom and being loud and breaking things-it's not as fun if nobody's around to know it!

Hope efurryone else is doing good, too!

Turtle's vet visit went pretty well. They're treating him for a bladder infection for now but if he doesn't continue getting better he's got to have an x-ray and a repeat urinalysis. He's on antibiotics and they also gave him some Centrine for bladder spasms.
So I guess that's good news! We'll just hope he continues getting better :)

Hi guys! I have laser eyes in this picture. See my naked spot on my leg? That's where they vampired my leg. It was furry terrible.
I think I'm still feeling okay today. I ate the dry food Mom left in my kennel last night and have eaten several half-cans of wet food throughout the day. I've been rubbing on and mrowing at Mom today, too, which I wouldn't do at all while I've been sick.
I have to go back to the vet really early tomorrow morning so they can make sure I'm still doing okay. I sure hope so! Thanks for your purrs, guys!

Turtle is acting a little perkier today. He has eaten some wet food mixed with water, so hopefully he'll continue to keep that up. He's laying around right now, but he likes to do that anyway. Maybe he'll keep getting better.

Turtle came back home this afternoon. He's still not himself at all, and Mom never really got any definite answers as far as what's going on. He's hanging in there right now, and will go back to his regular vet on Tuesday.
He doesn't want to eat or drink at all, so if he doesn't start tonight Mom will have to force him to, and she doesn't want to do that. So please keep purring for him :)

Hi efurryone.
Just a quick update (sorry we haven't been around, Mom's been planning then actually having a yard sale. Toooo much work. We'll be posting more normally once the weekend's ofur.) Mom's also been working more than usual to make the green papers which is really good because of this...

Turtle is in the hospital right now because he started howling like he does when he gets barfy (he has food allergies so if he gets into my foods he barfs it right back up) but kept doing it and doing it...then he squatted and peed in the floor!
The v-e-t did some bloodwork and said that his potassium is low, and they want to keep an eye on him because his pee-hole might be a little bit blocked. So he's going to get some waters in his arm (IV fluids) and have to stay to be monitored.
Please purray or think pawsitive thoughts for him! I fight with him a lot but I miss my brofur and I want him to be home and healthy.

I am FURRY NOT HAPPY because it's THAT TIME AGAIN.

You know, the time when I have to go see the v-e-t and be poked and stuff. Turtle has to go with me so I guess at least I won't be all alone.

And Mom ALSO said she might have them get some of my pee because she smells pee somewhere in the house and since I have FLUTD, she has to be furry careful. So not only do I have to get the REGULAR stuff, they have to poke me in the belly and get some of my PEE which is FURRY NOT FUN EITHER.


And that is what I think of all this. Wish me luck!

OMC, we can't believe it's May already!

Flowers are blooming, and there are lots more bugs around! (we like that part, Mom doesn't.)

Ooh, and Mom won a couple of fishes at a school carnival! Their names are Ping and Pong.
Ava is FURRY obsessed with them-she hasn't left their side for one second.




Does anyone's beans watch the new show Harper's Island? Mom has gotten addicted to it but is furry upset because they moved it to Saturday nights. She's nefur home on Saturday nights! Lots of people aren't! What are you thinking, CBS?!

Whew, we have been on the go for this whole last week!
Okay, actually it was Mom who's been on the go. But whatever. Details.

She's had to go to work three hours early every day the last week because her boss is out sick. So we haven't gotten to see her much!

As a result, we've resorted to hanging out with each other. It's not always pretty, but at least we're warm and have company.


Oh! And a great big spider crawled across the floor in front of the couch! We reeeeeally wanted it but you know how Mom is with letting us have the fun things. They're always "dangerous." *eyeroll*

Mom thought her family was getting together today, but turns out they decided not to and nobody told her! So after church we just lounged and watched movies.

Today Mom made a Salsa, Chicken, & Cheese casserole.
She boiled a few chick-hen breasts and didn't use them all...

...so I gave her my best "pretty pweese?" face and got some chick-hens!

Since my mommy didn't buy me ANY cake at ALL for my birfday, I claimed some donuts that were on the counter!

Today...I got my head stuck in a cup.

It freaked me out for a minute...then I realized the milk I stuck my head in there to get was running RIGHT INTO MY MOUTH.

So tonight, Mom is going to something called a "Twilight DVD release."

We don't know what that is, really, but we've seen Mom read a book called Twilight a lot. She's also gotten a lot of her friends into it 'cause they talk about it a lot.

Sometimes Mom says she feels silly because she's supposed to be all growned up and she's reading young adult books. Then she realizes she doesn't care! MOL that's the way to be, right? What matters is that she likes it!

She's also really excited for the next movie-it's her favorite of the books 'cause she says she's "Team Jacob".



Maybe she's just a little crazy.

So we asked Mom today what this "Daylight Savings Time" is all about.

And she said something about how the world spins (?!) and that way it's light outside longer.

And it just does not make any sense to us. Day is day and night is night.

Humans are silly.

In other news, We have a gate on our stairs now. Our human cousin Alex (Mom's nephew) is over here a lot and he's almost a year old, so he gets up the stairs in no time. So it's very confusing and sometimes we forget to stop when we run really fast down the stairs.

So this evening we're hanging out by the back door as usual, and Mom happened to notice us playing with something. She walked over to see what it was, and it was a THOUSAND-LEGGER. It was like 2 or 3 or 20 inches long and sooo much fun to chase!
But Mom spazzed out and threw it outside with a napkin. Things with that many legs freak her out.
So there goes our fun toy for the day. Poop. Now I'm just having to lay around doing nothing.
Like you don't LOVE to do that, Pippin.
But Mom, I'm sulking because you took away my toy. Sulky laying around and nap laying around are totally different.
Sure, Pippi. If you say so.

It's finally Friday!

We're soo excited. That means that Mom will get to hang around the house with us, 'cause it's the weekend!
Plus, Turtle's birfday is Sunday-he'll be 4 whole years old!

Does anyone have any of those Catsitter DVDs or something like them? Mom's been looking into getting one for us but she isn't sure if we cats really go for them. Sisfur Ava does sit and stare at the TV sometimes, so maybe it would work.

Thanks to Daisy, we had Mom order an "I'm Tired Of Animal Cruelty" bracelet. We hate animal cruelty more than ANYTHING in the world, and half of the monies go to Best Friends, which is our favorite sanctuary/shelter to support!

Anyway, our typist (Mom) has to go to bed cause even though it's Friday, she still has to work. I call feet bedspace!

Here at our house, we all have a case of the Mondays.
Even Mom, who said she so didn't feel like going to work today.
I personally think that Mondays are furry pointless and there should just be two Sundays, but Mom says then the second Sunday would be Monday. I don't get it but whatever.

Mom gave me part of my birfday present today (my birfday's not til the 22nd but I knew she had it so I gave her my Puss-In-Boots face until she let me have it.)
So Pippin and I played with it most of this evening. It had the catnips on it. Pippin is obsessed with the catnips so he hogged it. Grr.



Ava sat on the shelf above the computer monitor and stared at Mom. For a furry long time. Mom said she started to get a little uncomfortable when Ava just jumped down and walked off! She's furry weird sometimes.



So that was our Monday! Did I mention the Orange Tabbies don't like Mondays? We don't.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Remember that you don't have to have a significant other-only someone you love! So hug your loved ones right now :)

Sometimes...

Sometimes late at night I get a crazy look on my face.
And I'll look ofur Mom's shoulder at absolutely nofing for like, a few whole minutes.

Then I take off and runrunrun for a furry long time. Like 10 really long minutes. Just in circles and around things and ofur the furnitures and everywhere!
Sometimes I attack things too when I get these crazies. Like feeties. And the stairs. And drawer knobs.
Then, I jump in a chair and go to sleep for a really long time. I mean, that stuff wears you out!!!

Today I spent allll day sleeping. It was furry rainy and dreary, so it was the perfect day for that.

Today my Mommy made Valentime's day cupcakes with her friends.
She said they were yummy, and I wanted to give her my opinion so I tried some.


She laughed but took it away from me. Now I'm kinda sad.

Oh well. I can prolly find somefing else to eat!

Also, we're furry sad to say that the awesome mancat Jake has gone to the Rainbow Bridge. We're so sorry we didn't know him better but we'll still miss him furry much.

Mom really does a good job when she forgets something!

If she wants to save money all she has to do is hide it...then she promptly forgets where she put it and finds it a looong time later!

Mom found her at the post office this summer and she's about 9 months now. She thinks someone just dumped Ava there. Her full name is Ava Grace #11 Jasmine (Mom's 6-year-old cousin helped name her, hence the middle names :) )

And here she is sleeping on top of me on the couch. We don't get along very much (she's VERY annoying) but she is pretty warm to sleep with!
